Bass Rattle!

2007 G35x, technology and premium package....love it. I've heard some people have rattles, but so far (6000 miles in 2 months) this thing is as tight as a snare drum! However, there is one rattle in the car that drives me a little crazy and wanted to see if anyone could help.

When the radio is turned up, 60% or more, the bass from the radio rattles something in the trunk I think. It seems to be coming from the disk changer in the trunk or somewhere around there.

Anyone else have, find and fix this?

I have the exact same car and wish I had some rattle from the bass! I honestly think Infiniti forgot to install my sub-woofers

LOL...funny. The "Studio on Wheels" system is average at best...I agree. I'm going to drop the trunk liner and get in there and find the rattle and fix it.

By the way...any rattles I find I fix by using ultra thin mouse pads and I cut them into the shapes I want then put them where they need to be. I also used silicon "cocking" in some past cars.

At what levels do you have your bass and treble levels set?

what does that have to do with anything?? please dont tell me that you are going to suggest keeping the bass low or the volume down??

Could be the license plate....or the trunk release latch that's on the top. If all else fails, dynomat the trunk and the disk changer. Also, check the spare tire and hardware.

I have an aftermarket system, and I had to go through the car with foam tape on any plastic body panels that touched. You might want to do the same.

It was simply a question for my own reference. He appears to have some decent bass and I do not, hence my asking. Ok??
