I was thinking of a t3 or a t25Log manifoldcustom piping370cc stock silvia injectorssr20det smicSafc

This is for the basic basic turbo setup. I am on the tightest budget.Maybe 5psi tops for now.Any problems? What else would I need? any words of wisdom

All I can say is don't cut any corners. Cut the engine flange, get t-bolt clamps the first time, take your time on the whole thing and you will be a lot happier. Don't forget to add in this to your cost:- Oil plumbing (jgs prolly)- Clamps, connectors- Make sure you're clutch can take the extra power- Don't cheap out on gauges (atleast oil and boost)- Retard the timing.

Hope this helps.

-for the piping you will need silicone or rubber connectors (try cutting NAPA radiator pipe into sections for a really cheap option)-dont forget to include an upgraded fuel pump so the fuel will be there when you need it-you're going to need lots of small things: think gaskets, fittings, and flanges, they add up.-Planning on running a blow off valve? you should.. a 1G DSM blow off valve is a cheaper option-Are you planning on relocating your battery to make room for IC piping? That's a kit, or a slim battery maybe? Think about IC routing and all that

Theres definetly alot more but I have to go to work now and dont have time... Someone else on here should be able to help out more. Just understand that this WILL cost more than you think it will... always does.

I would go with the SAFC, you can find them for cheap on Ebay. But going into a turbo project with a tight budget isn't always the best idea, I would save up money and wait until you have a 'flexible' budget.

With no money for a wide band O2 meter or dyno runs, just use the 8/1 FMU. Even I'm using one till I get my othe rpieces together for the big boost. You only use stock injectors with the FMU though.

The whole project can be done for under 2grand if you buy all used parts and are a big DIY kinda guy. Home Depot and Ace Hardware are your friend. Use 2" intercooler piping from Summit and you can use radiator hose for weird nebds as well as pipe connectors, which saves you quite a bit by the way. For a low boost you don't need Tbolt clamps, just make sure the end of each IC pipe has a weld bead or some JB Weld applied to give the hose clamp somthing to bite on, I ran 28 psi in my Skyline just like this.

If you've got access to tools and a welder your golden. Best of luck, if you need and other help post away or shoot me an email, [email protected]

I have a 1g DSM Intercooler if you want it to buy it for your setup, looks good, almost like what I have, Go JGS for your manifold, because they are good for budgeted people like yourself. Be careful and don't buy bad parts, ebay is your friend. Good luck
