Basic Questions for new looker

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

1. How long has the current body style been out for? Is there a scheduled body redesign?

2. I am not sure how all the different packages work, though I want to the nav and bluetooth. Does this mean I need to get the most expensive package?

3. How does the $3,000 deal work? Does this mean I negotiate my price and then I get the $3,000 additional amount off that?

Thanks!

1) not sure, too lazy to look. Rumor has little body changes for 11
2) Nav and BT comes with the upgraded bose sound for 10. Sounds like it's changing for 11 though. So I don't think one has to order premium or tech to get it.
3) the 3k should be after you negotiate a price, but I would expect the dealer to add in off the bat. It should be either 3k off or a free loan for 36 months.

Good luck.

I'd warn you about both. The nav is really dumb. In San Francsico it sends me over the largest hills to get home. Google Maps on my EVO 4G sends me on the proper roads. The bluetooth is really sensitive and easy to overload on the mic if you talk loudly. But the adaptive cruse is awesome and the reason I got an EX. Makes my 100mi commute so much better.

1.) Just to make sure I understand correctly, I need to get the EX35 Journey to get Bluetooth and it also has heated seats and this will cost $3,000 more than the base EX35? Are there any other differences between the Journey and base model?

2.) The navigation package will be an extra $2,000 option on top of the Journey?

Thanks.

I have a Droid Incredible, though I really like integrated gps and the larger screen to look at. Have you tried the gps outside of San Francisco? Have you experienced similar issues?

Thanks.

stan, check the infiniti web site. It's pretty clear as to what comes with which package. That's the best way to check things out. One caution- and I don't think you're planning on getting the premium package is that if you want the premium package you also have to get the larger 18" rims.
