basic performance help

hi i just got my s14 with a KA24de 5 speed, i was wondering if i could get some help in this forum, since all my friends are into hondas and integras and dont know anything bout nissan. what can i do to my car to get some more power, since the engine is totally stock and i have only changed the air filter???? any tricks ???

Well theres always the simple bolt on parts like a cold air intake, header and exhost. And you can get some performance plug wires. Or you can always slap on a turbo. It all depends on how serious you want to get with your engine

well i just want my 2.4 stand up over the 1.8 2.0 civics and integras, those f***ers are freaking fast, i dont wanna put turbo on it just get all the power i can get with my engine

well, there's not a lot that can be done as far as boltons to get a good "all motor 240sx". the motors are low compression which ACHE for getting a turbo. however, spend a few hundred dollars on a set of cams, a good cold air intake, aftermarket exhaust manifold and a good free-flowing exhaust.

Maybe some of them are faster, but really does it matter?! You could have 10x more fun with your stock RWD.
