The kit looks pretty complete with the relays & switches. It looks like it's mostly plug & play after you mount them & plug the cables in. All you have to figure out is where you are going to provide the +12 volts & where you are going to provide the ground. All pretty basic stuff.

Do we know of anyone who has these lights? I want to know if it's just the halo ring that lights up, or it's the entire projector light and the halo ring.

yeah man sounds good. Definitely keep us updated. If I like what I see, these are the fogs for me. I may consider them anyway. Still deciding if I want my fogs for actual use, or just for show. haha -_-

hahaha yeah same here. I do now, apparently. I don't see the problem...my HIDs point at the ground, and it's not like they're any annoying color or anything. People are just too sensitive on the road now a days. My bright headlights makes up for the douchebags that drive with their lights off and don't even notice.

I contacted the seller about these lights. They say, and I quote, "Only the halo ring part lights up. Just like the BMW's projector Halo headlights. ." That sounds really lame. If a purchase was to be considered, it'd be for display purposes only. You can't get any real use from them. I had to ask again if the piece in the center can light up (since they didn't answer the first time) so we'll see what happens.

i asked them a second time if the projector can be used with an HID and they said: "Sorry, the question are too technical. We will try to search for answer online."

.....Fail.

I just installed these same ones last weekend and had no probelms at all except for the a$$hole sent me them with one burnt out bulb for the projector. But one thing to look for also is that when i was running the wires to the right side of the car they were too short so i had to add 6 in of wire. other than that it was no problem at all. I took lots of pics, so i will post those tonight. The halo's are bright enough to see duing the day and the projectors are very bright as well. The bulbs are standard H3 55w, so an HID application is possible.

What kind of wire did you had to buy to extend it? I hope I don't run into that problem.

Also can you take a picture where you place the switch in the car and how did you run the wire to the switch?

Fog light installation as follows:

What you will need:

wire connectors from Radio ShackQuick splice connectors from R S 6" heat shrink tubes from R S16 gauge wire (if wires are too short) R S1/4 in drive ratchet with metric socketsciggarett lighter or heat gunjack stands with jack or rampdrill with drill bitsrubber gromet R Szip tiescorregated cable insulators R Swire cutterselectric tapesmall nail3m double back tapeBEER and ciggaretts

First jack up the car and put on jack stands or use ramps either one will work.Remove splash guard and set aside.Next remove the fog light hole covers using a 1/4in drive ratchet (3/8 is too large) and remove the metal clip. DO NOT LOOSE THIS BOLT you will use it later on.

Then disconnect the positve battery terminal and then the negative cableand run the black part of the harness between the left headlight and the frame. This works best with two people, have the bottom person pulling it to the right side of the vehilcle.( now when i did this the wires were too short so i had to add an additional 6 in to it but i would measure it out before starting this project or you will be on your back for awhile)Also when running it to the other side use the space in the lower grill as a wire way, the wires fit like a glove.

Next remove the nut ontop of the positive battery cable and install the pair of red wires crimped together on the bolt and tighten down snug.

Now there are three holes next to the drivers side headlight two have threads on them. This is where you will connect the two black ground wires to. I used a bolt from my tool box but i think it is a 1/4 bolt but you can get one at lowes or home depot or something like that.

Next grab the other stray red wire that connects to the switch connector that has not connector on it and take a 1 1/2 " piece of red shink wrap and slide it on(DO NOT HEAT IT UP JUST YET). take the male end of the quick splice connector and crimp it down then slide the shink wrap over the thin end of the connector and heat it up till it forms aroound the connector. Then take the female end and disconnect the parking light and wrap the female adaptor around the green with black srtipe wire and crimp. install the male to the female, then reinstall the light.

Now install you lights and tighten screw enough for it to stay in place you will need to adjust later. Connect the wires to the lights. The colors do not matter except for the black goes to black and the others are the same on both sides.

Next is the trickey part, running the switch cable through the fire wall. Now i had an aftermarket amp installed professonally and the drilled a hole through the fire wall next to my brake pedal but i heard there was a place by the glove compartment, but you would need to add some extra wire to it if you want to control it from the drivers seat. But when you run the cable you will need to remove the connector terminals by using a small nail and run it though with a zip tie or a piece of a caot hanger.

once the cable is through slide another piece of shrink wrap on it and reconnect the terminals and make sure the colors match up or else you will want to jump off a cliff once you reconnect everything and try and turn it on. slide up the the shrink wrap and Heat it up and connect the cable to the female side on the harness

Awesome are you still with me? Sweet now you can hook up your battery cables and test it. Now the way it is hooked up you can turn them on with the parking lights on and even have them on with the high beams on if you think they are not suitable or youre an A$$hole. Now take a piece of 3m double back tape and mount the switch. I mounted mine next to the OBD II port there is a mince flat piece of plastic there and it does not fit where the OEM switch does.

AHHHH now if they work here's another PITA part. Cleaning up all F-in wires. using the cable insulators run all the extra wires through it and place the two realys between the frame next to the headlight and runn the extra wires next to the master cylinder because there is nothing moving there.

Now you can lower your car and test you new lights to make sure they dont point to the sky or directly at the ground. Then you can crawl underneath again and tighten that bolt down but remember the light housing is plastic so DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN..........Then reinstall the splash guard and have a nice day at the beach.

Also if you are not proficient at electronic's then i strongly sugest to take it to a local stereo shop or someone who knows WTF they are doing.

For anyone still interested, I found a much easier way to run the switch into the car. I don't have any pictures, so I'll have to describe this as best as I can. Instead of drilling holes or running extra wires to the right side of the car, you can simply take off the wheel well from the front left tire, and you will expose the hole where most of the wires for the interior of the car go through. It's not hard to miss, it's about 3 inches wide, and has a ton of wires going through it. It also has a rubber-looking filling to keep all the wires in place. Around the wires and the rubber molding, there is a black piece that can be pushed (or pulled) down to expose a bit of space big enough for the end piece of the switch to go through. You'll have to put the end of the wire through the interior of the car though. If you look under the steering wheel, you'll see all of the exposed firewall, which is where you'll want to look. I'll take pictures of the area later so anyone who plans on having these lights can see what I'm talking about. Other than that, the rest of the setup described earlier is pretty much right on the money, and helped out a ton. The only problem I had was the clips from the car to the light. They just will not stay clipped.
