Baseline exhaust weight, Stillen cat-back weight, Tanabe axle-back weight

I took some measurements of the above listed items for the curious. My scale is a little crappy, so you might want to take these as general weights.

The stock pipe from the cat to the muffler:About 14lbs

The stock muffler assembly:About 28lbs

So the baseline exhaust weight is 42lbs

I threw all the Stillen parts in a 10lbs box since there were so many:60lbs - 10lbs = 50lbs

The Tanabe axle-back:26lbs + 14lbs (stock pipe from cat) = 40lbs

I saw one website that indicated up to 40% weight reduction over stock. I just didn't see it. I may pull it off and weigh it again.

I originally purchases the Stillen and am now running the Tanabe.

During the dissasembly of the Stillen and swapping in the old pipe from the cat, I weighed that too.
