Fun show with some very interesting cars, but as far this collection of cars representing the current state of the economy, i think you could better argue the opposite. The fact there were relatively few new exotics cars there implies the economy may not be as good now than what it was before.numbnuts240 wrote:no auto show comes close to representing the current state of the economy. ESPECIALLY not the concours d'elegance.
your post title has a better chance of representing the current status of our embarrassing education system. it SHOULD read "Based on this auto show, our economy is doing well."

Chill, buddy. I enjoyed your pics and said so. I'm an old V12 Ferrari fan. But we were not being rough and you were not being ripped at all. Your statement about comparing a group of exotic cars with the state of the economy (in the thread title no less) was provacative, not witty. A wittier description might have been that there were more prancing horses there than at Churchhill Downs.skiski329 wrote:Wow. you guys are really rough. of course i didn't mean that because of a few cars we are doing good. it should have been taken kinda funny. i was just trying to be a bit witty and not post a boring title such as "Auto show". And (the grammar guy is going to love me starting sentences with and) as for the grammar this is a forum, i'm not typing a report.i'm quite surprised to get ripped apart by a forum based on cars after posting a video showing a bunch of amazing cars that you don't see everyday. i was expecting posts more or less along the lines of "wowowow! DB9RS!" notice this is not some big Detroit auto show. It's a local auto show that is outside and is in essence in a parking lot and the local people brought their cars.

maserati also had some beautiful designs in the 60's -70's (pre-Fiat, pre Bi-Turbo fiasco)Jesda wrote:Modern Maseratis are among the most beautiful cars ever built. Ever. Ever ever.
Jason Castriota gets credit for their design, as does Pininfarina for training him.

I really like this post.skyline084 wrote:Hey skiski, don't sweat it man.. cool car show and thanks for the upload, I've seen only a few of those cars in person, so I enjoyed it. The thing about people on these forums is this is a BIG part of their lives, so they tend to take it a little bit too serious. Yes, I agree, these people try to use big words to make themselves sounds smart.. it's hilarious, but the truth is, they probably sit in front of their computers, backspacing, editing their words until they sound like a "sophisticated" person. Look at how many posts they have lol
it's like how the funny dude from hot tub time machine says it.. like you do something and the internet is never invented.. Than he replies, oh.. well than you actually have to talk to girls with your Mouth.
