What are the major differences between the vehicles....I am looking at two right now, on is a base model one is an SE with some nice options...1 year apart...same mileage. Is there 3grand in difference between the base and SE model level?

they are both clean...the SE has Konig rims...the base has steelies (its gonna be winter here soon anyway..)...the SE has a VLSD and sunroof...power everything...the base does not....I dunno...ya ever get so frustrated with car shopping that ya just are about to go buy a 67 VW Beetle without heat.......I hate looking for cars.....all I want is a 97 or 98 240SX and an SR20DET swap....with a FMIC...Vortex body kit....and a candy root beer paintjob and some deep arse rims....17x8 up front and 17x9 in back....pie plate brakes and some sweet coilovers......is that too much to ask of life....

SE, I dont know what I'd do in life if I had to roll up my own window, it's beyond comprehension! Go for the SE but try to work the price down!

sunroof makes most cars less rigid....cruise control is in my other cars and I never use it......I guess when I get home from cali and the car I looked into is still available I will buy it and add some killer rims next spring...then the Vortex bodykit.

I have a Base/SE... it has every SE part that makes it an SE with the exception of the gauges and fogs, which I sold. LOL... kinda ironic cause I didn't even try to make it one.

oh thats right, I forgot about power mirrors and cruise control... got those too.

Also, Judge is wrong-- all SEs didnt come with VLSD (case and point - mine :( ). Uhmm not sure about the koning rims either... just SE had the 5 spoke steel wheels while the base had cheapo hubcaps I beleive... anyways I just know what I have and pretty sure they aint anything special besides SE stuff...

Maybe you should reread what I said...the car I was looking at had those options and Konigs..I never once said al SE's did.

not neccesarily. a properly done sunroof will be just as structurally sound as an enclosed roof. the added weight of sunroofs comes from the structural reinforcements added around the opening. it's the same deal with any car that's had it's roof chopped in some way. t-tops, verts, and sunroofs.

ditto, minus vLSD. I also already had power windows and I added the rear deck lid with speaker holes so I could put in speaker back there. I wish I had 5 lugs and an LSD :(

as for Judge... $3000 is a huge price difference. The price difference is normally only $500-1000 max

I don't know what mine is. The title says SE but it had hubcaps, no whiteface gauges, and 4-lugs. Doesn't matter though coz i now have almost everything that the SE has. Not to mention it came with power everything and a sunroof.

Canadian LE. Has everything a fully loaded 240 would come with.

I believe majority of Coupes with HUD were full loaded whetherit'd be US or Canadian.

I think VLSD was the only option not avail on US.
