Alright just trying to figure somethin out. My block has been bored .20 over at 86.5mm and I know thats the breaking point for the SR. Here's my question, I'm running a t4ob90 with the wiseco pistons I'm doing the stock 370's with an SACF for right now. I plan on running 8-15 psi. I plan on re-sleeving it next year so I'm going to keep it down for a bit but do you guys think that it needs to be done right now or will it last for a bit. Anyone know what the stock walls will do .20 over?

i recommend getting them resleeved whenever an overbore is done. Aluminum is not a forgiving material and doesn't take much to bork.

DO NOT run more than 8 PSI on those injectors unless you want holes in your Wiseco's.

Hey Alan, why would running 8psi put holes in the Wisecos? My initial guess was it'd cause the motor to run too lean and put too too much stress on the pistons but it was just a guess. Any words of enlightenment for this scenario?

The stock 370cc injectors are rated at about 270whp at ~56 psi of fuel pressure (factory 34 + 2 bar absolute pressure) on the T28. However with the larger turbocharger he is running he will flow every bit of 270whp at even 8 psi due to the larger compressor wheel. Running 14 psi would yeild him more power than the injectors are able to resolute. He also will outrun his MAF's maximum resolution capacity at anything over about 10 psi.

I personally will never put a larger turbo on my engine until I have a nice set of 740's to match.

awesome. Figured it'd have somethin to do with the limitations on the injectors

sounds good, I wasn't going to go any higher than 7-8 with the stockies but thats really good to know. Any advice on if the sleeves will take that abuse or not?
