Bars Leak and the Q
The Cadillac techs suggest Bars Leak to prevent cooling system leaks. Is there a reason why it wouldnt be good for the Q?

Never seen a Q engine leak coolant other than from a hose or radiator.
What if the sealant suddenly lets go on a trip and the coolant leaks out.........the engine [any all aluminum engines] gets toasted.
We have seen too many trashed overheated engines from poor parts replacements or lack thereof!

I remember hearing on the cadillac forum that the reason they have to use it is because the aluminum is very porous or something... Basically its because they have POS cooling system....
