hey all

need to trim the fat off my ka24e, IE... whatever components I can remove specificaly from the intake manifold...

The engine is for my 72 510, which does not require (air care)

the egr is already gone, what I need to know is what else can I remove for bare bones operation, And also would it be beneficial to remove the "swirl control valve" setup???

attn; GURU's need your input.....:thinker

I've heard mixed things about pulling the swirl controller. I have heard that it will pick up a little in the top, but you lose more of the bottom end. The weight savings of pulling that part is pretty minimal from what I've seen. Dump your PS, AC, and all the additional pulleys from them though

get rid of as many vacuum lines as you can. I hate those stupid things. Nissan is retarded for all the vacuum lines they use.

what about the cranksahft pulley?? I'm only running the alternator, no p/s no a/c, the front part of the crank pullley seems to have a "balancer" built into it....

I've seen aftermarket "billet" pulleys that don't have that extra wheight.

Any problems with removing the front half of the pulley???
