Anyone tried this stuff? Its REALLY thick, and right now I have blue smoke at startup, and when I go WOT (like if I floor it [a/t]). Seems like it might work.

After doing some research, Ive read it might be my lifters or valve seals. I think I read this stuff is supposed to cure it.

Thanks for bringing it up, Im gonna try it on my girlfriend's Avenger because it smokes like crazy but it's not worth tearing apart to redo valve seals or anything. My dad told me something about some stuff he thinks was called Engine Honey, but doesn't remember. I can't find it though.

Im also trying Valvoline Max Life (I think thats the name) motor oil in it too, they claim it will stop smoking.

Hopefully I'll be able to let you know how it all works out before the end of next week.

Restore.

That is all I can say. For me, Restore has been a life saver. I put one 6-cyl can in my 240--no more smoke ever. I have used it in my dad's wreckers, motorcycles, lawnmowers, everything. I will bet both of my testicles that it will work. Really, if 2 applications doesn't fix it, you can come to TN and cut them off with a plastic knife. It is a Autozone or Walmart for 6 dollars. Because the 2.4 is larger than average 4-cyl, I used 6-cyl can. One time and all the smoke was gone, car ran and idled much better, and got better milage to boot. It is in an old-fashioned oil can (metal with a Coke tab on top). Put it in after oil change, and within 500 miles, you will feel and see the difference.

It has ceramic shavings that go into gouges in the cylinder wall, get superheated by the combustion flame, and perfectly seal them. I used it in my XR600 and when I tore it down to replace broke timing chain, the bore looked brand new.

P.S.--- Do not spill it on paint.
