So, what is everyones thoughts here? Barack has a looney-speaking anti-white (at least anti-white establishment and self-hating for following in the footsteps of whitey), potentially anti-American wife and he has a anti-white/anti-American pastor. He's been married to Michelle for 16 years (together since '89) and has been attending services under JW for 20+ years (he is his admitted mentor and still associated with his election staff).

Does anyone really believe that two of the most important/influential people in his life has not "rubbed off" on 'ole Barack?

Probably no more than Bill rubbed off on Hillary, or GW on McCain. Hopefully, any of the three will be man (woman) enough to think for themselves if elected.

I think everyone was surprised by Jeremiah's rambling speach. Damn, guild by association is a bad thing.

Guilt by association is not necessarily a correct thing to do. BUT, you can't believe that some of the rhetoric has not washed off. I think that is the fear of many people.

The consensus among many nations is that Obama would change our image the most, and would be the one who other nations would look at as being the best change for our current image. They see his presidency as being a turning point for the United States away from the Dynastic years of Bush and Clinton and into a new frontier of new ideas and positive growth. They see McCain as being a Bush-like in his approach to war and Iraq...

I feel that the world opinion of the United States needs to be improved. It should be as important as anything else the new President does for this country. How much consideration should we give to improving the world's opinion of the US when selecting a new president?

I feel I really care less what those who wish more out of us think of us. Those same countries have caused more damage in this world than we have by far yet we get the blame for the current shape of things and our reactions (right or wrong) to it. We have only been around 222 years and have never tried to conquer the world like the other older countries which shaped the majority of issues we are seeing today.

I think it very much rubbed off on him and shaped his ideals. This man ( obama ) is probably one of the most dangerous men in the world right now. Good thing he wont be elected.

Do you think he is more dangerous than Kim Jong-il and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad?
