Bank2 Sensor2 O2 sensor location on 2001 QX4

Can anyone help me locate the O2 sensors on my Infinity 2001 QX4? My Scantron readout referres to "Bank 2 Sensor 2." (error code p0158)

The parts dealer says it's the one behind the catalytic converter but the only ones I see see are right next the the transmision drain pan where they enter directly into the exhaust pipe. There are no other sensors aft of these connected to the exhaust system.

Is this the O2 sensor my error code referrs to and which side is "Bank 2" on?

Passenger. Your dealer is correct. Amazing, ain't it?

There have to be O2 trim sensors after the catalytic converters. But I am not familiar with the V6 at all. Technology is the same as for V8 in OBD II, though.

I'm not familiar with the QX4 either but you'll be able to find the O2 sensor locations in your Factory Service Manual (FSM) at this link. Good luck.

Thanks for the input. I tried this link and downloaded the manual but cant open it. Is special software needed and if so do you know what it takes to get it to open? Thanks.

This file isnt useable with Adobe. I have Adobe and it wont open /read this file. Looks like it's a .rar compressed file. Not sure what to do with a .rar file to get it to open

Get winrar.exe to uncompress it. Some zipfile utilities will also handle rar files.
