damn, and I thought my front end was low, I'm gonna jump on the "bang bus"heh, I mean bandwagon here and say use a hammer and a handtowel...and maybe raise it half an inch? oh and you don't have to remove thefender to relocate the harness enough not to rub, you just NEED to relocatethe harness so it won't rub through... been there, and it sucks ***...I had a winker and lost my ability to pop up the drivers side headlight.
all you really have to do is cut or pop the tab out of the factory zip tie/mount...and then use 2 of the stronger type zip ties, not connected to each other but next to each other...now heres the pain in the *** (if you don't takethe wheel off first that is)......the fasteners on the zip ties which are wider/thicker than the rest ofthe tie need to get pushed up and into the crevice where the fender and the frame meet...if you need to, you can wedge something GENTLY between them to get more room to push the flat part of the zip ties into the crevice. the principle being since you are now in control of the length, itwill sit high enough to clear the tire, and the fastener part of the 2 zip ties will hold the harness in place, kind of providing an anchor from above (theflat part of the tie slightly wedged inbetween the fender and frame.
this takes a lot less time than fender removal/harness relocation. and ALSOtakes a lot less time than splice repairing sections of wiring harness andelectrical taping it back into harness form
for me, I only had to do the drivers side... didn't even have to remove theinner fender on the passenger side...and my coupe is pretty dumped.
