A great resource for Nissan Sentra, Infiniti G20, 200sx, Pulsar, NX1600, NX2000, Tsuru, Primera and Sunny owners.

Has anyone sucessfully replaced the lower ball joints on the 95-99 Sentra? In my manual it says that the ball joints are an integral part of the control arm and cannot be replaced on their own but I'm finding stand alone parts for sale (ie: Moog). Anybody have any insight? (Just as a side note......those nuts on the balljoints are an absolute PITA when the car has 181,000 miles! Had to cut one off and heat the other one up and use a breaker bar on the other!)

The ball joints are replacement, but as you have learned they are extremely a PITA. After you get the nut off, you still aren't home free as now you will have to bang the hell out of the top ball joint to release it from the pressed in position. I suggest putting a jacking under the control arm so there isn't any movement when doing this. Good luck and watch those fenders....
