Not to thread jack or anything, but is there anything special you have to do on first start up with a new bb turbo?

^^^I remember I read somewhere that you have to crank the engine a couple times so the turbo gets lubricated with oil? Not sure if thats it. Adrians_S13 said it.

You shouldn't have to do anything special for a bb turbo. At most just let it idle for a few minutes to get everything lubricated, but that should only take as long as it takes for your engine to warm up. As far as the open down pipe I never heard anything that sounded like scraping with mine, just high pitched whistling from the wheels spinning and the air moving. If there was no shaft play then you should be alright.

Thanks for the replies.. Im guessing it probably just wasn't lubricated yet.. I let it idle for about 10 secs then noticed a leak and shut it off.. Next time ill crank it a few times first.. But im going to remove the inlet pipe and spin it manually just to make sure
