Ballast for Headlight, 01 QX4

My headlight is no longer working and I know it is not the bulb. My ballast must be bad. I am looking to replace it, I found two different kinds on Ebay:

1.) Square shaped ballast http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...30894

2.) Rectangle shaped ballast http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...45175

The one in my 2001 is like the #2 rectangle ballast but I can get a better price with a square one. Anybody know if they both work for an 01?
