Ball Joints

Hi,
This is my first post on NICO forum and, well, all four of my ball joints are shot.
What do you guys recommend because I was looking at some that were $50 a piece and personally its a little much for me.
Is there anything else I can use (i.e. b13 front ball joints for the rear)
Any imput will help

Is it just the boots or is there actual play in the joint? If its just the boot, id leave it.

Yeah the boots are ripped but they aren't going to hold grease cause there is a hole in the boot

I've had my 240 since 2003 with ripped boots and to this day all 4 ball joints still don't have any play. (not ask is them where ripped, but you get the idea) I just give my wheels a good shake down to see if I have any play in my wheel bearings, ball joints, and tie rods every time I rotate my tires and the only thing I HAD to replace where the tie rods at one point.

So what you you suggest I do to check that they are still good? Oh I'm about to replace my front outer tie rods, I just bought them today.
Not a good day for me, found out that my battery died, starter blew, all 4 ball joint have ripped boots, outer tie rods shot, spark plugs fouling.

Or grab some channel locks and squeeze the ball joint vertically and see if it has play up and down. If, it has play up and down but not in and out then its during to go bad.
