Ball Joints

so i went to get an oil change today and they said i needed new ball joints. well one at the moment.now should i change both at the same time?and also is there any performance ball joints i should consider or extremely durable ones. or should i just opt for regular oem ones.they quoted me 140 dollars for labour on both ball joints. is that a good deal?help me please

I'm assuming front lower control arm ball joints? ... How did they assertain you needed them?

Moog Heavy Duty is about the best your gonna get.

You can get Moog from O'reillys, $38. the only problem with doing them yourself is that you have to have a press. you can use the tool, but a press makes it easier. also, they are a pain to get out yourself. i just ordered some new lower control arms with the ball joints and bushings pressed in.
