i recently installed eibach lowering springs on my i30t

during the r & r i damaged the boot to the balljoint

now i think it is needing to be replaced due to the noises i hear while driving...

does the whole a-arm have to be removed or can the balljoint be replaced with it still on the car?

thanks in advance!

It will be easier to replace the ball joint with the lower control arm out of the car. You will have to press the old one out, and press the new one in. Any machine shop in your area can do this.

If you can install new springs/struts, you shouldn't have a problem replacing a ball joint. It helps when you know what you're doing, but there's how-to's posted all over the inernet if you can't find help on our site here.
