Ball Bearing Turbo Question.

Are typically ball bearing turbo's louder than a normal t25. Mine seems to make alot of noise and I was wondering if that is typical. It functions correctly and doesn't seem to be malfunctioning. I only ask because I can hear like a buzzing sound when cruising, and I was wondering if that was cool..
