Hey Guys,

Just wanted to see if anyone had any input on the idea of balancing the stock bottom end of my VH45 in addition to a lightweight flywheel.

My machine shop can do it for a small fee and I'm considering it, but unsure if it would be worth it. Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks.

no point unless you're replacing the rods and pistons...stock bottom end is well balanced from factory.

Thanks Carl, I wasn't sure at first.

Do you know what arp bolts to use for the rods?

i think the essssaaaahhhhrrr bolts work...but it might be the vg30de ones...best to just hammer one out and measure.
definitely replace them if you're gonna tear the engine down, reused nissan rod bolts are a ticking time bomb.
