Hello, right now is already too late, but i want to know what i did not do.

First, i just finished assembling the motor, i just need to put it on the car, which is what i will be doing today after school.

The problem is that my friend told me that i have to balance my pistons and rods. But i did not do it since i could not find a shop near me to do it and i did not have money or time to wait to send it to a shop. So i just sent the crankshaft to the machine shop and they told me that it was ok, they did something(not ask me what). The machine shop did not charge me anything since is my brother's wife shop.

What i want to know is what could be the potential problems, with my motor if i did not do the balance.

Info of my rebuild:Rod and main bearings on standar sizesupertech pistons with 89.5 borestock rodsstock head

I think that is all. So i just changed the pistons and rings. Thanks

No, you are probably fine. Also, I would bet they polished your crank is all.

I would say you are fine aswell, you're not going to be reving to 9k so having a few grams of weight difference here and there wont wreck your motor.

Balancing the parts means making sure that each rod weighs the same as the others, same goes for pistons. If there is difference they machine away from the part at the designated areas so that the weights are the same.
