im thinking of removing the lens and painting the inner housing black well all the non necessary reflectors and then doing the same to the headlights, its a different alternative to just the overlays...

hmm, can see how it would look, i like the idea.

i tried the overlays, but it turned out to be one big fail. so i might try it again but find a place that knows how to do it.

dremel is your only way...but i dont advise it unless your pretty handy, and dont use superglue to put them back together, the gases in the super glue will ruin your bulbs

what do you mean a dremel, how about putting them in the oven at 220 for about 2-3 minutesmany people have done the sedan lights on here and painted them without cutting

I thought that the oven way didn't work on the new retard silicone that Nissan used. But you are a pro Brandon, so it probably works for you with some tricky prying.

I tried to do my headlights a while back but luckily ran some tests first.

I used a heat gun and pried the light open just enough to take some of the silicone out. Then put the silicone piece in the oven for the reccomended time. When the clock stopped the silicone was still hard as a rock so I didn't attemp any further. I re siliconed the piece that i opened up and I really hope nobody hear is stupid enough to try and seal there lights with superglue. That is just dumb.
