Bait and switch on motor mounts?

Hi All!

I just bout a set of Nismo Mounts and I think I've been scammed. Two of them look like high quality NISMO mounts with the part number cast right into the rubber but the third one (that came in the box that had the seals broken) looks like a cheap Chinese knockoff. I'll post the pics. If you agree that the left motor mount doesn't look like a NISMO part please post up.

Here's the full set, notice how the left mount is fully painted gloss black?


Here's the right mount up close


the numbers are all clear and the quality looks high.

Here's the transmission mount,

again, you can read the numbers.

But when you look at the left mount


There are no numbers and the quality looks bad.

What do you think, should I send them back?

Has anyone else ordered the NISMO mount kit and gotten a left mount all painted up like this?

The shop I bought it from has been good to me in the past but I wonder if the supplier he bought from maybe had an employee that swapped a good mount for a bad one in the stock room and sold his buddy a NISMO mount in a generic box (and now I've got the generic mount in the NISMO box.

WOW, it looks like s***! I thought NISMO stood for quality.

Engine mounts aren't really pretty. :P

I'm afraid that one of them is high quality rubber and the other one isn't

I have them in my car and have no complaints.

You'll get a lot of vibrations for about the first week of driving.
But it'll break in and get better!

I talked to my supplier and sent him the pictures. He agreed with me that it didn't look high quality and didn't look like any of the other NISMO mounts he's sold. He asked me to send it back and he'll try to straighten it out and get me a mount that matches the other two.
