Post

Well, i think is time to introduce myself, i'm Luis from Buenos Aires, Argentina.
I buy a red S13 200sx ca18det inside…4 port head, non ABS, non Vlsd, non catalytic, non lamba.
I don’t know if it’s JDM, UDM, or WTFM, jeje
Well I own the car with some issues, the engine was bad rebuild, the turbo was off, etc.
After some repairs and spares etc, need a engine rebuid. I’m chase of 400 hp to the engine at least
for occasional “daily drive”, “track” and why not some “street drift” . Not drag racing.
With Power Steering an A/C working it’s the goal, so with the future setup the engine expect to be over the
this turbo demand.
I read a lot of post and Faq, please if I ask the same things again please “link me”….

Installed:

Master Power Turbo 802-306 till 280 hp (upgrade for Vw Golf 1.8t)
IN
A.r .42 / Air inlet 60.0 / Air oulet 49.0 / Ind wheel 46.4 / Exd wheel 60.0 / Trim 60 / BL 6

EX
A.r .65 / Inlet T2 /Disch Outlet 4bolt 10mm / Turbine housing Undivided / Exd wheel 48.0 / Ind wheel 53.4 / Trim 81 / Bl 12

LS1 Wideband (installed)
255 fuel pump (installed)
Nismo FPR w/ gauge in engine (installed)

In the closet:

4 x 1000 cc inyectors
Complete Kit of Bushings Energy suspension
Pair of front 4 lug 280m rotors drilled
Pair of rear 4 lug 240sx rotors drilled (maybe don’t fit in the S13 ca18det)
Pair of 26mm 300xz calipers
Gear crank oem
Hks ssqv
Z32 Maf Orange (22680 300P00 N62) w/ pigtail
Nistune type 1 board
Megasquirt type 1 board w/ ECU Patch Jumper Ext Adaptor
Autometer Z Series Oil press
Autometer Z Series Vac/boost

The engine is not open yet but I hope open it in 2 weeks

To buy now: (on every part please leave a coment where to buy or maybe add some details to buy the right part)
add if something is missing on the list.

ACL Race bearings main and rod
-need measure-

Kit Wiseco and K1 rods (I belive w/rings and rod studs)
-the wiseco don’t came in +.10 overbore? -
-need measure-

Arp head stud
-I read that some Arp for Ca don´t fit well..it’s right ???-
Arp Rod Stud type L19
-if don´t come whit the Kit Wiseco/K1-

Adjustable Cam Gears
-I see some on ebay-

Oem Head Gasket vs Cometic
-as I read and I supposed try to left the oem because act like a fuse in the camber
don´t know how much PSI they can tolerate or detonation etc, open to opinions-

Greddy Timing belt
-last more and its cool but too expensive how long and how much for a good brand belt?-

FMIC
-some from ebay, but I don’t want to hole the battery tray, and looking for Stainless
piping if it’s possible and don’t what size or tubes 2” or 2,5” etc.

Clutch
-I don’t know anything but something that don’t slip and “please “street feel” jeje

All the block to the machine shop resurface, clean and re-bore, etc
Any advice will be welcome !

Anything else for this first rebuild ??? in the future go for the cams, head port, bigger turbo,
and some more but when I get more money, I’t will be more questions.

Please leave a comment or send pm or anything, thanks for the help I read the forum for
so long that I fell like home.

Thanks you, Luchito

Pd; how can i paste pics in my post ???

You can't paste the pictures directly into the post. You'll need to have the pictures uploaded to a photo hosting site (the common one used in the USA is PhotoBucket) Once they're uploaded there, you'll have to post links in the post. When you use photobucket, it will give you the vbcode (forum code) for the images. You simply copy and paste the code.

If you do some searching, I believe there is a writeup on how to do this.
