Bah! Silencer removal on Greddy Ti-C

Im so frustrated.

This is the 2nd summer I've had them and the first one they havent been off yet. Its really stuck. I cant figure a way to get them out anymore! I have no tools or cannot find/ put together one that will help me remove the silencer! How do you guys go about doing this!?!

Last summer I pulled the silencers out with a food processor spinner thingy.. I threw that away and have tried everything else to no avail. I need these things off for at least 2 weeks! Please give me advice!

Dude i pulled my out with my fingers. Wait for a hot day and pull them sucka's out.

i used a metal hook thingy.. did the trick. u shud try using the spare tire lug jack in ur trunk. that might do the trick.

Wow.. I think that might actually work.

Maybe i should try starting the car, let it warm up.. Get the jack out and see what i can do?

And theres no way I can get these things out with my fingers.. just impossible.

Anyone else have suggestions? And don't just say a metal thingy.. cuz its the metal thingy i need!

wait.. why are u starting your car to warm it up? If im correct, this is what you SHOULDNT be doing when ur taking out the silencers. You need to let your exhaust cool down, because metal expands when its hot, so the silencers would be pretty tight in the mufflers.

Yeah it works both ways though. When you start your car the whole exhaust gets hot so everything expands. But I think you're right. Because the inside of the exhaust gets alot hotter than the outside, therefore the silencer would be expanding faster than anything else..

bah.. i need help.
