Well a buddy of mine decided to replace all the fuel hoses while i wasgon and now the car wont start. I was wondering if there was a way tocheck for fuel pressure and/or fuel delivery.

The first time i tried to start the car, it started and then died. Now the motor wil just turn over but no firing. I'm pretty sure all the hoses are in the right place, just not sure whats going on.... any help would be appreciated.

not a good friend i guess...

pix would help to verify if they're plumbed right.

did you use fuel injection hoses & clamps? not the ones made for carb'ed engines??? they cost more for a reason

<shrugs>

-------------

here's a trick:

unclamp one of the hoses to the fuel filter, turn key on but not to start the engine... you should then see that hose spill lots of fuel as it tries to pressurize the fuel system up

common-sense says take precautions (ALSO ~ you can try turning the key on,not to start car & hear for the pump priming up w/out removing anything)

if you don't hear the pump priming up, check the fuel pump fuse near battery box; mebbe he didn't replace the fuse when he removed it to properly "depressurized" the system before removing fuel hoses/clamps/filter... <shrugs>
