well i am about ready for my 5 speed swap and i picked up what is suppost to be a lightly used exedy stage 1 clutch for 50 bucks. i just lost most of my hours at work so i have to finish my swap on a tiny budget

when im at home i get bored and check the numbers on the clutch disk and they say it is for a 240-280z or a 200sx.

my question is this the guy said it was from his s14 ka24de. and i know it measures up the same specs as the ka24de clutch disk also when i did some searching i saw that centerforce offers a clutch kit thats for the 240-280z and also all models of 240sx. so would it be possible im just not searching right or this disk will work in my car as well as an older z car. or am i just a dumb f***

sorry for the long post. also i cant find anypart numbers on the pressure plate other then the stamped exedy

You didn't even try to fit it yet? You never mentioned anything about what is wrong in your thread, other than theories and part numbers of it not fitting, go try it man, most likely it will fit if ppl told u it will. Certain parts are always interchangeable for cost reasons so don't b scurrd.

thats just the thing. i still need to get my transmission back from a friend lol . and i dont want to tear my car apart if im going to need to get a new clutch.

my guess is if everything is the right measurements it will work i just couldnt find that part number matching a 240sx when i looked it up and i started to worry that i would have to wait even longer to finish and get out of the boring automatic
