yeah im undecided on this too. the last car i had was a 2003 Dodge Stratus R/T, and the R/T came with chrome emblems (R/T on the doors, and Stratus, etc on the trunk) and i completely debadged it, and i liked it. What i ended up doing was buying new emblems and having them painted a glossy black, and i loved that even more. the car was red, a lot like the same color as my Code Red Altima, and i love the red & black combination.

.... I think the 3.5 SE has dettered a couple of civic Si's... on two different occasions, I have had Si's pull up next to me, slow down as if to check the back, and then just coast. the Si could probably take the 2.5, but def not the VQ...so if you want to peel off and embarrass someone (if you're into that sort of thing) then take off the 3.5, and smoke 'em..but if you like deterring young hot heads, then leave them on...

Indeed. I personally like the idea of the "6MT" badge. Makes you more unique and adds a certain hint of prestige/pride.

I am 67 years old and and normally not one to change the appearance of my cars.

I had a scratch on the trunk lid when I bought my Altima and then got a rock chip(first one ever on a trunk) so had the dealership repaint it and decided to leave them off too see how it looked. Liked the clean look so well left them stored in the trunk.

This subject is a mater of opinion. Personally for me I like the look of a de-badged vehicle. IMO, it looks clean. Since I've changed the whole front end and I'm waiting patiently for Stillen and other manufacturers to come out with a NICE not RICE side skirts and rear fascia, I love it when people look at my car and wonder what it is.

I debadged the back and love the clean look, I vote for it all to come off.

^^ I'm with you. For some reason, I kind of like the burger, but prefer the smoothness you get when the rest are gone.

I personally like it partially debadged...only leaving the hamburger. For me, with all the badges on there it looks too busy. I notice things like that because I have a degree in Graphic Design, so my eyes are drawn to it.

Or the V6?

I have an idea on the placement of the V6 emblem.

Took all of mine off this last weekend, including the burger.

I keep threatening to put "lame" on a co-workers Civic hybrid *, or attaching the V-6 emblem under the hybrid emblem.

*nothing against Hondas

I really wanted to take off the burger but after seeing PhEnoM78's it just seems a little too bare. Well who knows maybe tomorrow I'll change my mind and take it off. Any chance they make a nice looking NISMO badge?

yeah i can confirm that the si can take the 2.5 that day i went home, cried into a box of bisquick, baked some pancakes and ate my own sadness then i realized how much sexier my car was and the fact that i was slower just meant that spectators could admire my car as i crept by (at least thats what i tell myself) btw mines completely debadged...to stay on topic

something i really didn't wanna know... but i guess it's better that i find out now than learn the hard way...

i would say either leave them all on, or take them all off. i love the clean look too.. but i'm scared i'm gonna regret taking them off and then have to put them back on
