Soften the adhesive with a blowtorch. On second thought, try a hair dryer. Once it's warmed it should pop off with a little gentle prying from a screwdriver.

A screwdriver? is that an official aerospace engineer OSHA approved method?

maybe a piece of monofillament . if that doesn't work a pry bar & a mallet.

My favorite saying at work is " a bigger hammer will fix it".

Monofilament (aka Fishing line?) is also a good idea.

I used a plastic squeegee for applying decals and a heat gun to remove the emblems from my Chevy truck when it was new.

I use dental floss to remove emblems and clay to clean up the sticky residue followed with some pre-wax cleaner.
