i have a bad front left wheel bearing on my 95 240sx SE i got it looked at at an alignment shop and the lady called to find out about ordering the part and it wasnt listed, so she had to end up calling a nissan dealership and they said that the wheel bearing wasnt replaceable and i had to replace the whole hub, is that true?

you can get the bearings seperatly but it is a sealed unit. the hub [the piece with the lug studs] and spindle are seperate peices. you need a hydrolic press to seperate all the peices. in some cases the bearing is incorperated into the hub as one unit. It depentes on the model car. I cant remember exactly which comes with what since I work on so many nissans. And we dont see to many 240's anymore since the labor rates are high most with 240's dont find it within their budget to come to the dealer. Although did have a beautiful black 98 come in yesterday. I unfortunitly had to give it to one of my guys to do the work on since I had a more pressing issue of ripping out an Armada headliner I must say EEEWWW to that.

Any how what ever the FSM shows you is what is available to us at the dealer. We are not privy to anything your not unless it is a recall kit of some sort.
