bad turbo??

so i just finished my sr swap finally today and after driving it around for a little i found there was oil leaking from where the hot pipes connect together. upon opening it there was quite a bit of oil in the hot pipe. alot more then there should, you could see a puddle. so does this mean my turbo is bad?

does the turbo have alot of shaft play,is the car smoking bad?

not sure on both accounts. i'll check for shaft play tomarrow but it should have already been checked. smoking not sure. would it smoke just during idle or would it have to be reved up a little.

i dont have a bov on right now so would that have anything to do with or help it when the compressor surges

well do you have the stock bov on? cause if not then you're probably getting full back pressure! BAD

nope none. no bov whatso ever. will have synchronic on this weakend. not driving it right now cause of the turbo and all the oil though.
