1989 240sx sr20det powered

BAD turbo line = bad idle? im about to replace it the turbo line that i have in my sr20det looks like it was cut and just clamped w/ a rubber fitting and somehat just taped w/ a electrical tape, looks like a fake braided line doesnt have the blue and red fitting at the end. Is it possible that this a big vacuum leak? Will this posibly take out the cause of loosing power and stalling? i have in my head that this is the problem, not so much in the IACV. just want someone's opinions.

You need to be a little more descriptive. Is this turbo line an oil line? Water line? Vacuum hose to the wastegate?

That's a coolant line to the turbo. There should be another one coming out of the turbo leading to the block. If that one isn't hooked up either then you don't really have a problem. The coolant lines on the turbo are not necessary to run properly.
