bad throwout bearing?

Well i got my clutch kit from exedy, and everything seems fine except...



so im guessing this is a defectis it something i should worry about, or would i be fine if i still used it like that?

when i spin the middle around, if i hold down the side that pops up, its completley smooth and level from what i can tell, but when i let the thing stick up, every half rotation, it gets really rough

I vote send that ish back or at least request that they swap you with a new bearing at the very least. You got me worried, I ordered a Exedy kit and it comes in Tuesday.
