Are there any mods available to help out with the slow start the 240 has at the line? And if so, please inform me of these...thanks, its greatly appreciated.

Cold air intake helps a little. just rev the chit out of it.

intake, headers, and exhaust are the most basic mods you can do for a little extra HP. Search

a good start is very little wheel spin (if any) and almost instant power once you get traction. Basically, no luggish first gear that the 240 has :-) (the 240's first gear really sucks)
