So I just changed my clutch, flywheel and transmission. The clutch and flywheel are new but the transmission is used(with warranty). Everything was going well until I tried to bolt the slave cylinder back on(my old one). It fell apart, got scared, so i used the one that came with the transmission instead. Bled it the replaced slave and the clutch piping connecter. And the pedal is still sinking in. I then read a few FSM and remembered I messed around with the clutch pedal to adjust it and went to adjust it back to spec. Bled everything again...that didn't make a difference. Big question is, how can I tell if it's the slave or master? Or even if I messed up when replacing the clutch?<<<<Fist time doing clutch

And I also read other forums about connecting the slave straight to the master... would that help? And is it better in any way?

:gotme

Yes do that connect master >>> slave. Get that damper box thing out, you'll have a better feel for the clutch and it'll be more stiff.
