Cool thanks a lot. Hey, you sound like you have experience with custom fabbing exhausts.. My motives may seem questionable, but... I want to purchase a good exhaust or a decent exhaust at least, and shorten it a few feet by cutting and rewelding. Use a back hanger, or custom fab my own hangers, and paint the exhaust black, then rig up the stock exhaust muffler so it looks completely stock. Are there any real risks to shortening the exhaust? Under car heat issues/too loud by shortening/bad tone? I know it's probably difficult to get everything to fit up well, but I have the tools and the time, just need some advice!
[The reason is, the car must look completely stock. There is high theft at my school, and cops will pull you over around there for the dumbest thing. I even got pulled over when I had my greddy exhaust on my old gsr turbo. I was stopped at a light, and he pulled me over, without even hearing it, and yes greddy exhausts are very quiet. Even asked me to pop my hood, and if I didn't have that carb sticker for the turbo, I would have been in serious trouble. So you see, it's crucial that I NEVER get pulled over, especially after going ka-T!!]
