New ACT clutch kit w/ Fidanza Flywheel (flywheel ran 4 6mths with no problems). Deleted the clutch "sissy box," installed speed bleeder onto ~new slave w/ plenty of travel. no bubbles in the lines. adjusted the clutch pedal all the way in and out, clutch still would not engage. the fork had play too. i could push the fork with a small pry bar and the throw-out would finally touch the pres plate fingers.

so i pulled the motor out again (NEW RECORD: only took 1.5hrs. by myself! ). yanked off the trans and i noticed that the fingers on the pressure plate were completely flat. If the throw-out bearing would have hit the fingers, it would have pushed them onto the springs of the clutch disk. WTF? I double checked the part #'s w/ ACT and everything was correct. so i sent it off to have the P plate checked. Just wondering if anyone has had this problem, and if the pp is the problem. Starting to go through withdraws from not driving my S13.

first time I've heard of that happening on an ACT. then again I'm sure it's bound to happen since no product line is 100%.

too be honest, they start out not flat. then as you tighten the bolts the fingers start to become flat.
