Should I leave hose like that & try to connect it to the stockram air type of thing or just take it out? I don't know what I woulduse to make a good seal to block engine air from getting into thehose thou. I tried electrical tape for giggles & it melted lol.

It looks to me that you have connected a plastic hose to the stock air inductor from the grill, wrapped it around the intake tube and are trying to point it at the opening of the aftermarket intake filter. If that is correct.... then just take off the plastic tube and remove the stock air inductor. Your short ram will do just fine there on its own and actually routing that hose like that is feeding less air than keeping the space open.

That hose looks outta place. Come on dude the engine bay isn't a freakin laundry room's dryer. Take it off and leave it be.
