I know theres been a LOT of posts/threads about having excessive oil pressure, pegging the gauge ect,ect, but my prob seems 2 b a little diff. So here goes:
#1 when i slap the top of the gauge it drops down 2 the seemingly correct pressure & will stay there reading correctly for a while then peg out again til i slap it.ok that sounds like a bad gauge untill u add the following: In rain or dense fog the gauge works flawlessly.#2 i have noticed that if i look carefully @ the dash lights they flicker ever so slightly, so could this problem b bad grounding? bad gauge or both?
I have seen & heard about grounding kits so i was wondering if this is a common problem with Zs, bad grounding. I have a 2003 touring with the 5spd auto tranny.
Any1 care 2 comment?
