I know this is going to sound funny, but my 2007 3.5 SE gets a temporary bad odor after a hard/full acceleration, as soon I back off the pedal, the bad odor come around. Any idea?

Could it be that you own a 6MT and your burning your clutch when accelerating?

If he's accelerating he would not have his foot on the clutch... either way when an engine works hard, lots of exhaust gasses are expelled and can be sucked into the cabin. This is kinda normal to have a funny smell. Unles it smells sweet like a coolant smell I wouldn't worry too much about it. Hopefully you don't have any holes in your exhaust as this would be the cause as well.

I notice it when I'm on the highway and punch it for about 45 seconds+, the smell is like burnt oil or bad exhaust gasses. It's to be expected.

try checking the engine coolant level, I had burning clutch smell at carlisle bcause of my supa low engine coolant level.

so I bought some and then no more smell at all

Isn't this a dry clutch? Why would your coolant have anything to do with your clutch?? I doubt it was the clutch; your low coolant was probably causing high temps so you were burning off oil/carbon residues somewhere.

if it has a smell like rotten eggs/sulfur then it could be your catalytic convertor going bad

catalytic convertor? starting to make sense, sometimes when I stop at a red light, I hear a sound that comes from catalytic location, like when the engine is cooling down, like click, clack, cluck! BTW, my Alti has a CVT.
