Well first thing I would do is take the car to the dealer and have them fix that SIHT if the car is still under warranty.

It doesnt matter, your powertrain warranty is 5 years/60,000 miles

5yr or 60,000 miles whichever comes first. Since your car is not 5 years old go to the dealer and have em replace it. But by the way if you don't mind could you please take a sound clip or video of said rattle? I'd like to hear what it sounds like.

your warranty expires at 3 years or 36 thousand miles except for the engine which expires at 5 years or 60k miles.... (and now CVT warranty got extended to 120,000 miles). so the warranty that expired doesnt include your engine, your engine is still under warranty. my question is, how the hell do you already have that many miles? i bought my car mid 2007 (4th of july) and have UNDER 28k miles

How could you not know that you had lots of powertrain warranty left?

Not trying to be jerk, but man that's pretty important stuff. Anyway, you shouldn't have anything to worry about, the repairs will all be covered under your warranty.

OP, what was the casuse of needing new cams and sensors?

A car with that low mileage should not be having those types of problems.

Did they mention possible causes? Was this an OBD-III that was used to determine this?
