Bad News

Yup. Came today. I won't be able to put it on until Thursday. I'm working 11.5 hours tomorrow. By the time I get off work, daylight will be long gone.

Very nicely packaged. I had a ton of that popcorn stuff on my bed. How come the mirror can't swivel? Was this one glued? I might not be getting enough leverage. (I tried to hold it and swivel. I was afraid to push too hard for fear of braking it.)

Ditto on the window retainer (rusty button) - and I'm a huge fan of treating it by a product from Locktite called "Extend" to stop the rust first.

The buttons are cheap from Joe. There was actually a recall on them for the early cars.

The new design doesn't corrode.

Nope.

SurfinGator had glued the passenger side mirror on the white '92 before I got it from him.

The black one is off Nari, but since she's getting President mirrors I didn't need the one I sent you.

Really? How would one go about getting this recall? The dealer won't even cover it would they? With my luck, the recalls have expired.
