its got 120k miles on it,broke radio, only thing that neeed replaced where motor mounts which were done alrdy.

well how is it much diff from 240, any1 know specs?

I.. I dont even know what to say man... how is that something you can "just find out???" When you register it, the VIN number comes up with the manfu and model number... and on top of that, didnt you notice that the pics looked different?!

Oh man.... how the hell?!?

Anyways, the S12 is still a nice car, but doesn't hold a candle to a 240

My friend had an old S12 before he got hit, and from what I could tell without driving it it was very similar to the 240. Just not as fast.

S12 is the chassis code for the 200sx, just as the S13 is for early 240sx and S14 is for late 240sx.

he is giving me the car for FREE not 2400, i mean he mistakingly said 240, not 2400

it is a 4 cylinder

Yes, the FJ20 is an engine. It's pretty much the best 4 cylinder, ever.

Semi-hard to come buy, but well-worth it.

yeah i can't think of anywhere in the states that sells an fj....lord knows i tried, looked for 6 months then decided to go a ka-t route with my project 240

cheap and fast never go together if you want to be fast for a long time. cheap+fast= busted/broken/or some other ireconcilable problem with engine

I just bought a 89 240sx with an old school 84 200sx ca18et turbo motor swapped in. I know it sounds weird but actually the guy did a very clean swap and the car is very fast. It has a lot of torque to it. I paid 600 for the car and the body is in excellent condition. Very very clean. Not one ding or dent, no rust or anything and shiny black paint. I just bought a t28 ball bearing turbo I am going to put in and custom make a intercooler setup with a hks ssqv bov. The ca18et is a good motor, just an older version of the ca18det twin cam motor.
