well. found my problem i think. checked compression......115, 80, 70, 80

if i add oil, it comes up 30 psi...i think i effed up on the rings. Time to pull her apart again

on another note, when you guys get your aftermarket pistons and clearance the ring end gaps, what specs do you use, nissan specs or aftermaret specs.

do you need stock gap numbers? I have the FSM right next to me.

I'd use the specs that the pistons maker reccomends.

dude that sucks. i just threw mine on. didnt bother to check a thing, just eyeballed it and they probably moved while i was putting the pistons in (had issues) so that dont even matter.

im gonna re-ring it in 2 weeks, then we'll see whats up.....the ***** wants to play huh...ok.....i can play.... 2nd times a charm.

im pretty happy at the moment tho, cuz i got 87% final mark on my final exam for welding first year....(= so that kinda offsets the piss off that my engine has to come out again
