Hello all

I just did my sr swap and the MAFS that venus gave me was bad...no comment on venus...fjdklsa;jfdlsa...so i was wondering if i should just go in there and say hey...gimme a z32 mafs, because im rather frustrated with them anyway.

I have heard that because it is designed for a higher hp rating that there is kinda like a huge grid, that will make it less acurate with the lower horsepower...but i do plan on upgrading my turbo, intake, exhaust, and fuel injectors very soon.

I guess my question is whether or not it will be bad for me to run with that MAFS on my stock sr for a while.

thanks

You can run it fine but the MAF's signal leaving the Z32 maf will always be different from the SR maf... Even different number of wires but it will work. You will need a piggy back fuel computer to alter the Z32 maf signal to allow the SR ecu to read it properly. Like a SAFC or a Greddy E-manage. Might not be worth the trouble on a stock SR if u dont want to pay to get a piggy back fuel computer tuned by a professional.
