Bad MAF! what are the my options? 530$?!?!

my maf sensor is busted and nissan wants over 530$ for a new one, not installed! so ive been lookin 4 a new one on ebay. There are a bunch of mafs that come up in a search but they are not like the one on my car. Will other style mafs fit my stock 93 240?

Go to a junkyard, its so easy to install a MAF a stupid monkey could do it, you need a MAF from a 91-98 240sx, just grab one from the junkyard and plug the beast in.

ya i could install the thing no prob. but i was wondering if those other style ones made with that screen in them and the purple sticker will fit on my car. i think they are put on the the sr20 and the 300zx.

You usually need a tune and have to re-wire for maf's that done fit your car, thats a J30 maf it says, I would just use a 240sx maf if I were you...much less hassle.

ya i thought it would be somthing like that, it was just an option. i guess ill just go w/the used oem. but i still cant believe the new one is sooooo much!
