bad MAF?

OK, when i drive my car around for a while, and open her up every now and then she starts bogging on me. Kinda like its hot or something. But all my temps read fine. I was talking to a friend about it who also has a blacktop and he said it sounded like my MAF was messed up.

Currently I have the single cam KA MAF on my blktop sr. Let me know if any of you have any idea, and how to fix it.

I have a DOHC KA and when it warms up after about 2min the engine will lose ALOT of power and I cant press the pedal down pass half way or it will bog down real bad. Also, when im below 3000rpm or above 3500 its even worse. But anyway someone told me it was the mafs also and I relaced that and it didn't work. Also tried the plugs, rotor, coil, wires, vacuum leaks, acelerator node resitance thing :-/ and a couple other things. Ive had about 5 mechanics look at it and ran codes on it as well. I've finally came to the solution that its my catalytic converter clogged up because the guy who had it before me put low grade gas in it all the time plus it has high miles. I still havent gotten around to testing it or anything but im pretty sure thats what it is because someone I know had the exact same prob and said he fixed it with a new cat. anyway if you end up trying this out let me know if it works

What psi are you running at? If you are running 10psi or above, your mafs could have failed.

Well, I know its not my cat cause, well I don't have one,lolI have almost full exhaust besides the turbo elbow.

I have my boost controller set at low boost of (9psi) and high boost is (14.5/ 15 psi). I have a friend with a Cobra MAF, I was thinking of getting it and replacing the MAF currently on my car. I need to know what year, and what motor I need to get the MAF from if I go with the Cobra one. I can also get a 300zx NA MAF.

Maybe its your fuel injectors then?

Well, I was told that I would have to do some tuning in order to have the Z32 or Cobra Mafs. Since I'm not really ready for it I'll hold off on those. However, Could I not just get a SR MAF and would that work better?

Well, I can get ahold of the Apexi SAFC, from a friend of mine who ran it on his 350Z. I'll probably go with the Z32 MAF, since I won't have to ge tlarger injectors (so I've been told).
